Three souls, two brothers and a sister in the faith of Jesus, were baptized in Vietnam. Southeast Asia, last week, Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of the Evangelism Department at the General Conference of IMS, who performed the baptism, announced the good news on Facebook on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Pastor Woonsan Kang, Director of the GC Youth Department at the IMS, and Pastor Roland de la Paz, President of the Asian Division at the IMS, attended the event.
Vietnam, officially the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV), situated at the eastern edge of mainland Southeast Asia with a territory of about 331,000 square kilometers (128,000 sq mi) and a population of over 100 million, is the world's fifteenth-most populous country. The Christian baptisms in a socialist country are a fulfillment of God’s Word in Romans 10:20 and Isaiah 65:1 - I was found by those who didn’t seek me. I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”
