Pastor Felipe Acuña, a representative of the Latin-American Division, completed the reorganization of the Uruguay Field that was held from February 12 to February 13, 2020, the Facebook Profile SMI Latinoamerica reported.

According to SMI Latinoamerica, the new leadership of the Uruguay Field includes Pastor Bernardo León, Field President, Brother Martín Ignatov, Vice President and Missionary Leader, Sister Alicia de Freitas as Secretary and Sister Lorena Arredondo as Treasurer. The fifth member of the Field Committee is Brother Irvings Romero.

Uruguay, ranked first in Latin America in democracy, peace, low perception of corruption, e-government, and first in South America when it comes to press freedom, size of the middle class and prosperity, tops the rank of absence of terrorism, a unique position within South America.
