Two souls, a faithful to God family, a husband and a wife in the faith of Jesus, were baptized on December 30, 2022, in the city of General Santos, Philippines, Pastor Nestor (Rotsen) Mañago from the local church at the International Missionary Society (IMS) who performed the baptism, confirmed on January 7, 2023.

The baptized husband and wife were faithful members of the SDA church, however, they were disfellowshipped there because of practicing the reformation principles, Pastor Mañago commented. ‘The baptized souls were initially connected with the Independent SDA group, but our volunteers workers Ramil Cagape and company visited them for the first time. Then I personally visited them in the Mountains where I stayed for about 4 days and conducted series of lectures about the present truth and the History of the Reform Movement. And after that our brethren in Gensan City helped the baptized souls to be connected to our church. And we often visited them for follow up with our part time worker Bebot Bachicha and some members of the church working together. And through Facebook messenger we had always conversation with questions and answers and at last they decided to be baptized’, Pastor Nestor (Rotsen) Mañago explained. Unfortunately, Pastor Mañago suffered an accident on December 31, 2022, and needs today our prayers during his stay in the hospital that the Lord might heal his broken bones and give him relief from his great pain.
