Three more souls, three sisters in the faith of Jesus, were baptized in Cavite, a province in the Philippines, last Sabbath, on July 1, 2023, Pastor Roland De La Paz, Leader of Division Asia at IMS, who performed the baptism, confirmed three days ago on Facebook.

In addition, Pastor Roland De La Paz who was born and lives in Angeles City, Philippines, traveled by plane on Monday, July 1, 2023, from Clark International Airport in Angeles City to Miami, USA, and then, yesterday, on July 4, 2023, from Miami International Airport to Lima, Peru, in order to take part in the World Assembly of IMS to be held there from July 9 to 30, 2023.

The City of Angeles,  a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines, whose name is derived from Spanish ‘El Pueblo de los Angeles’ (The Town of the Angels) and the name of its founder, Don Ángel Pantaleón de Miranda, has a population of 462 928 inhabitants, as of the 2020 census. On November 5, 1899, the town fell into US-American hands during the Filipino-American War in Pampanga, a province in the Central Luzon region. The Philippines gained independence from the United States on July 4, 1946.
