A Christian symposium of the Americas under the motto «The End of Time Events» will be organized by the North American and Caribbean Division and the Latin American Division at the IMS and held in the middle of next month, from Tuesday, June 10, 2025, to Sunday, June 15, 2025, in the Dominican Republic, the Secretarial Department of the General Conference at the IMS confirmed yesterday. The participants in the event could contact Virginie Ewout at +599 9 677 9498 for further information. The venue has, as we already announced last month, an average temperature of 26°C (78.8°F).
The Dominican Republic, a North American country located on the island of Hispanola in the Greater Antilles of the Caribbean Sea in the North Atlantic Ocean, gained its independence from Haiti in 1844, after victory in the Dominican War of Independence. The Dominican Republic, which has moved toward representative democracy since 1978, has the largest economy and is the most visited destination in the Caribbean. In addition, the Dominican Republic is known as the country with the fastest-growing economy in the Western Hemisphere with a medial real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth rate of approximately 5, 3 per cent between 1992 and 2018, while the GDP growth in 2014 and 2015 reached 7.3 and 7.0 per cent respectively.
