Among the recipes taught during the cooking classes are those for healthy products as wholemeal bread, chapatti and biscuits made from cereals and pulses from the region, such as: wheat, corn, sorghum, millet, rice, soy, pigeon pea, lentils, peas and beans, as well as soy, coconut, peanut, fresh corn and baobab milk, soy and avocado mayonnaise, beside tofu, vegetable sausage, chickpea and potato vegan omelets. The cooking classes include theoretical courses about health, the nutritional values of foods, and even practical skills, such as making fields or small vegetable gardens, preserving the products of the field or building own bread oven.
