Ukrainian Christians pray outdoors, in the snow, that the Lord might protect their country from war danger, Sister Manuela Di Franca, assistant at the Education Department at IMS, announced on Facebook on February 17, 2022, posting the news from Indian web-site Adonai Ministries. In addition, Sister Manuela Di Franca mentions her prayer that the Lord might hold back the four winds, according to Revelation 7:1-3, because in Ukraine are cries of war.
However, we should pray to God not only for Ukraine, but for others of our brethren as well. Earlier, on February 12, 2022, Sister Margie Holmstroem Seely, Leader of Education Department at IMS, announced on Facebook that “Sister Irma Suarez, the mother of Pastor Idel Suarez, suffered a stroke in the morning and has been placed in ICU”. On February 16, 2022, Sister Margie Holmstroem Seely mentioned that Sister Irma Suarez is walking (with assistance), talking, and feeding herself, and that her left hand is also improving. Later on the same day, Sister Seely confirmed the good news that the hospital is discharging Sister Irma Suarez and transferring her to a rehabilitation center. This is one more testimony of the strength of prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, as Lord’s word states in James 5:16.
