In addition, Pastor Gustavo Castellanos, Leader of the Canvassing Department at the IMS, wrote on his Facebook profile on November 20, 2024: “Last September I had the privilege and the great joy of meeting and sharing an unforgettable week in Huehuetenango with Pastor Pedro Ruiz, whom I appreciated very much. His dedication for souls, his passion as a speaker and his love for the cause of God among others characterised his ministry. Now he rests in peace and we can cling to the blessed hope of the resurrection in Christ:

My deepest condolence to his dear wife, children and grandchildren, reminding them that our God and Savior will wipe away every tear and turn weeping into joy.”
