One soul was baptized yesterday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, and thus a new local church was established in this city, Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of Evangelism Department at IMS, who performed the baptism, reported today, September 19, 2021, on his Facebook profile. According to the church manual of IMS, a local church includes about ten church members.

The city of Minneapolis is a very proper place for baptism, because there are 13 lakes of at least 5 acres (two hectares) within the borders of the city in the U. S. state of Minnesota. Some sources list up to 22 lakes within Minneapolis, including three lakes that are not within the city's borders: Mother Lake (48 acres [0.19 km2]), Wirth Lake (39 acres [0.16 km2]), Taft Lake (14 acres [0.06 km2]), as well as 4 bodies of water smaller than five acres – Birch Lake, Spring Lake, Lake Mead and Legion Lake, plus two of the channels between larger bodies of water: Cedar–Isles Channel and Maka Ska–Isles Channel.
