One soul, a brother in the faith of Jesus, was baptized in September this year in Belize, a Caribbean country on the northeastern coast of Central America, Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of General Conference Evangelism Department at IMS, who performed the baptism, announced on September 20, 2022, on Facebook. The baptism was part of Pastor Pablo Hunger’s missionary trip in Belize.

Belize whose territory comprises an area of 22,970 square kilometers (8,867 sq mi) and a population of 397,621 (2020), borders Mexico to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and Guatemala to the west and south. The Maya Civilization dominated the area of Belize between 1500 before Christ and 300 after Christ and flourished until approximately 1200. The European influence  began in 1492 when Christopher Columbus reached the Gulf of Honduras. English settlers arrived in Belize in 1638, in 1840 the country became British colony under the name British Honduras, and the independence from Great Britain was achieved on September 21, 1981.
