Four souls were added recently to the IMS after a missionary trip of Pastor Normand Sindayihebura in the Republic of Congo, known as Congo Brazzaville as well, the Secretarial Department at the General Conference of the IMS announced at the end of April 2024. In addition, Pastor Normand Sindayihebura invited eleven friends of the Truth to the Christian worship on Sabbath and three of them decided to join the IMS. Later on, one more soul was added to the IMS.

The Republic of Congo, with its capital city Brazzaville having 2,1 million inhabitants, is known by its level of education, including the Marien Ngouabi University with about 26,000 students today, a public university in Brazzaville founded in 1971 after independence and named after a former leader, as well as two international schools: Lycée Français Saint-Exupery de Brazzaville (est. 1971) and American International School of Brazzaville.
