Education on Christian health subjects was given in the city of Giboro, Gambia, West Africa, among other missionary activities, Brother Daniel Kimeu reported in the first week of September 2022. The events were affected by the rain in this area in this period of the year, as well as by the school vacations.

Gambia, the smallest country in the African mainland area with its territory of 11, 295 sq km, was entered by the Portuguese in 1455, however, in 1765, Gambia became part of the British Empire. In 1965, Gambia gained its independence under the leadership of Dawda Jawara who ruled until 1994, when a cruel coup let Yahya Jammeh come into power. Adama Barrow became Gambia’s third president in 2017, after defeating Jammeh in the December 2016 elections.
