The Christian readings under the title “Man after the Heart of Jesus” for May as the month of the family at the IMS were published on Monday, April 6, 2026, the Family Department at the General Conference of the IMS announced via circular letter. The first lecture for the month of family under the title “The Image of God in Man's Identity”, a profound analysis on the relationship between man’s identity and God’s character, which is written by Pastor Yoni Delgado Cotrina, General Conference Secretary at the IMS, will be presented in all churches and families at the IMS on Sabbath, May 2, 2026. By the way, the second lesson for the month of family under the title “The Hidden Enemies”, an excellent lecture on how to overcome our hidden weak points, such as fear for our scant efficiency, anger and spiritual doubts, written by Pastor Vladimir Marinov, European Division Committee Member at the IMS, will be given on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
On Friday, May 8, 2026, the third speech “Stealth Destroyers” by Pastor Everardo Sandoya, an important description of the four types of abuse some women use against the man as head of the family, will be given, while the fourth and the fifth paper - “Challenges For Life” by Mexican Pastor Angel Andres Basta, an extraordinary analysis of the goals and the challenges of life, such as personal growth, Christian discipline and achieving spiritual greatness, and “The Identity of Man in Times of Crisis” by Sister Diane Mejia Linares from Curasao, a wonderful interpretation of man’s crisis as lack of God, shall be read on Sabbath, May 9, and on Sunday, May 10, 2026, respectively.
The next three talks - “Almost Forgotten Values” by Sister Sunny Kang from South Korea, an elegant study about courtesy, respect, gratitude, and kindness, “Morally Upright” by Pastor Lauro Vasconcelos, an important lesson about integrity, faithfulness, and coherence with God's principles and “A Heart After God's Own Heart”, a paper about the most precious value for God - a heart that would love Him, listen to Him, and obey Him, written by Pastor Adalicio Fontes, Leader of the Family Department at the General Conference of the IMS, shall be given on the last three Sabbaths in May – on May 16, 23 and 30, 2026, respectively.
