Virtual seminar on marriage, divorce and remarriage will be held on March 28-29, 2021, under the motto “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24), the Secretarial Department at IMS reported via E-Mail. According to the announcement, the event shall be transmitted from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM (EDT) on Zoom (ID 875 0506 4594), as well as on Facebook live and on YouTube.
Some of the best Christian Pastors working at IMS, such as the General Conference President Tzvetan Petkov, will participate in the seminar. In end of the nineties, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov held for Pastors and Bible workers an excellent seminar on this subject in the missionary house of Albertirsa, Hungary.
The program of the virtual seminar will include the following lessons: “Marriage and Family in the Bible” by Pastor Douglas Francis, “Divorce and Remarriage in the Old Testament” by Pastor Idel Suarez, Jr., “Divorce and Remarriage in the New Testament”, “Divorce and Remarriage in the Christian Church up to Adventism” and “The Position of IMS on the Subject of Divorce and Remarriage”, as well as “Chronological Development of the Doctrine on Divorce and Remarriage in the Testimonies of E. G. White” and “The Letters of Ellen G. White on Divorce and Remarriage” by Sister Raquel Orce.
