A Christian online symposium on the Sunday Law will be held via Zoom from May 24 to May 26, 2024, with some of the best Christian pastors at the IMS as guest speakers, such as Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the IMS, Pastor Douglas Francis, GC Presidential Adviser and Sri Lankan Field President at the IMS, and Pastor Elijah Zwane, GC Second Secretary at IMS, the Facebook site IMS Asian Division confirmed on April 30, 2024. The vespers (the Christian sunset evening prayer services) shall start at 6:30 pm Indian/Sri Lankan Standard Time, while on Sabbath and Sunday morning the event will begin at 9:00 am Indian/Sri Lankan ST.

According to the Wikipedia, the Sunday Law is considered as a Blue Law or a law restricting or banning certain activities on Sunday, however the Christian interpretation of this phenomenon is given in Revelation 13:16, because in the catechism the Sunday, “the first day of the week” (Mark 16:9), is mentioned as the “mark of the power of the Roman church”.
