Andrei Piontkovsky, Russian scientist and analyst of Polish origins based in Washington DC, predicted at the end of 2022 on BBC that Ukraine would “win back its land” via Russia’s inevitable defeat by Ukraine in the war which started on February 24, 2022. This prediction was cited by Wales Online on December 29, 2022, as well. In this way, Andrei Piontkovsky confirmed Christ’s prophecy in Matthew 24:6, first part: “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars”, and these words of the Savior could be regarded as the exact description of the time in which we live today.
On the other hand, the prolonged cease-fire between Israel and the military organization Hamas, announced on the day before yesterday, on November 27, 2023, on the German television ARD, was a confirmation of the Lord’s prophecy in Revelation 7:1-3. This peace in the Middle East is a chance for all faithful Christians as well to apply God’s instruction in Ephesians 5:16 - “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
