A profound interpretation of the Christian glorification was published on the Facebook site IMS SDA GC on Monday, April 29, 2024 as the third part of the Q&A session under the title “The Process of Justification, Sanctification, Glorification”: https://www.facebook.com/imssdarmgc/videos/737733035188353.
Pastor Douglas Francis, Presidential Adviser at the GC of the IMS, was the moderator of the event and Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the IMS, explained the true biblical meaning of Christian glorification, answering the questions of the IMS brethren on the subject.
Pastor Tzvetan Petkov emphasized that the glorification should be regarded as the victory of the true believers over the death, as well as the transition of the faithful Christians, the resurrected ones and the transformed ones who remained alive, from the mortal nature to the celestial nature during the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, according to 1 Corinthians 15:51-54. In addition, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov mentioned as well the testimonies of the Spirit of Prophecy which predicted even the resurrection of children for eternal life during the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In a noble and humble way, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov underlined as well the difference between the glorification as a term indicating the acceptance of the celestial nature and body through the voice of God during Christ’s Second Coming and the justification and sanctification as imputed and imparted righteousness.
