A very actual online symposium on health under the motto “Safeguarding Our Immune System” started today, on February 7, 2021, at 6:30 (EST), and should take till February 11, 2021, as Pastor Francis Douglas, General Conference Secretary at IMS, reported. The online symposium is organized by the General Conference and the Health-Medical Department at the IMS. According to the program, the speakers of the symposium on the first day are Pastor Morris Lowe, Leader of the Health-Medical Department at the IMS, with two lectures – “Basic Microbiology and Host Resistance” and “The Lymphatic System and Immunity”, and Sister Eva Lammes who is a professional medical doctor from Sweden, with the lecture “Enemies of Our Immune System (Pathogens)”, as well as Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the IMS, with the lecture “Vital Energy and Immunity”. The event will be transmitted via Facebook, YouTube and Zoom (ID 875 0506 4594).
The second day of the symposium will include the lecture of Dr. Angela Russell “Humoral and Cellular Immunity / Types of Immunity”, the lecture of Sister Sandra Gessner “The Intestine and the Immune System” and the lecture of Dr. Roland De La Paz “Our Oral Health and Immunity”.
On the third day of the symposium, the lecturers shall be Brother Arnolfo Cortez with the lecture “Faith vs. Presumption”, Dr. Angela Russell with the lecture “The Effects of Diabetes on the Immune System”, Dr. Alfonso Vega with the lecture “Natural Remedies to Improve the Immune System” and Sister Damaris Hunger with the lecture “Immunity in Children”.
The fourth day of the symposium will direct the attention to subjects like “Working for the Intemperate”, “Health Cognition”, “The Importance of Nutrition in Human Immunity” and “The Relationship between Mental Health and Immunity”, presented by Brother Pablo Hunger, Dr. Raquel Orce-Sotomayor, Dr. Idel Suarez Jr and Dr. Hugo Lopez.
The Symposium will finish with the lecture of Brother Alfred Ngwenya “Healing of the Soul”, the lecture of Sister Vilma Alejos “Immunity and Longevity”, as well as with the subject “Routine Laboratory Tests”, presented by Sister Corrina De La Paz. The subject “Strengthening the Immune System and Health with Physical Activity” will be discussed as well.
In addition, the first European online conference on the family is planned to be held from March 10 to 13, 2021, Pastor Vladimire Marinov, European Division Secretary at IMS, announced on February 4, 2021, via e-mail.
