Nine souls were baptized in July 2022 in Madrid and San Sebastian, Spain, the Facebook site IMS España (Asdimores) reported yesterday, on August 13, 2022. The pastors Adalicio F. Souza e Silas Teixeira from Portugal and Wesley Gomes, as well es the missionary Jaime Casteñeda, attended the baptisms in Madrid, while Pastor Wesley Gomes and the missionary Jaime Casteñeda performed the baptisms in San Sebastian, IMS España (Asdimores) added.
San Sebastian, also known as Donostia-San Sebastian, a city and municipality located in the Basque Autonomous Community, lies on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, 20 km (12 miles) from the France-Spain border. Commerce and tourism are the main economic activities of the province whose capital city is Gipuzkoa, while the municipality's population is 188,102 as of 2021, with its metropolitan area reaching 436,500 sq km in 2010. San Sebastian was, along with Wroclaw, Poland, the European Capital of Culture in 2016.
