Four souls – two sisters and two brothers in the faith of Jesus: Brother Abraham and Sister Jane from the Kubekro number 2 church at Ashaiman Jericho, Ghana, and Brother Azariah and his wife from the Jericho Local church in Ghana, were baptized on Sabbath, August 23, 2025, Brother Abukari Yaw Sampson, Multimedia Department Leader of the Ghana Field, confirmed. Pastor Mohammed Inussah, being the officiating minister, performed the baptism, Brother Abukari Yaw Sampson added.
The region Jericho is located in the southeast of the region Ashaiman, while Ashaiman, as a large town with elevation of 128 ft (39 m) and a population of 208,060 inhabitants, as of 2021, is the capital of the Ashaiman Municipal District which has an total land area of 45 square kilometers (17 sq mi) in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The name of the town came from two Ga words: "Ashai", the first name of the man who had founded the town (Ibrahim Nii Ashai), and "Mang" which means "town".
