Two more souls, a brother from Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Russia, and a sister from Tallinn, Estonia, were baptized in the ASD Church – Reform movement at the IMS this summer. Brother Vikror Melehov was baptized on July 23, 2018, in a small lake 4 km far from the city of Anzhero Sudzhensk, Russia, by Pastor Vladimire Marinov, secretary of the European Division. Within one year before the baptism, Pastor Marinov took care of brother Melehov, giving him biblical lessons. Furthermore, there is not any local church in the Russian city of Anzhero-Sudzhensk and brother Melehov will be the only member of IMS among nearly 86000 city inhabitants living to the north of the oblast's administrative centre Kemerovo and to the east of the Tom River. However, this experience is in harmony with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, because a testimony from the Spirit of Prophecy states that the human life of Christ would have been sacrificed even if only one soul on this earth would have been ready to accept His salvation.
In addition, earlier this year, on May 5, 2018, Pastor Vladimire Marinov baptized Sister Jaana Pjarnoja in the swimming pool of Tallinn-based four-star hotel Rocca al Mare as well. Unlike Brother Vikror Melehov, Sister Jaana Pjarnoja will join the local IMS church in the Estonian capital Tallinn. The Tallinn-based local church has 10 members and is part of the Estonian Field which includes 22 church members.
