The Christian children’s readings for the family month May 2026 at the IMS under the title “A Child of the King” are ready, the Education Department at the General Conference of the IMS announced on Friday, April 17, 2026 via e-mail. The first lecture under the title “I Am Special Because God Made Me” by Sister Manuela Di Franca from Germany will be given on Sabbath, May 2, 2026, because the readings shall be held on the same date like the lectures for adults. The second lesson for the family month, “I Will Protect Myself from the Dangers I Cannot See” by Pastor Danilo Monterroso from Guatemala, will be presented on Thursday, May 7, 2026, while the third paper “I Will Do What is Right, Even When No One Is Looking” by Pastor Julius Mwangi from Kenya will be read on May 8, 2026. The fourth speech “Discover What God Created You For!” by Sister Ines Müller from Germany will be given on Sabbath, May 9, 2026, while the fifth lecture “With God I Will Be Brave” by Sister Yvonne Solomo Wasinga from the Democratic Republic of Congo will be presented on the next day, May 10, 2026.
The next three papers, “I Will Live Well Because God Has Given Me Values” by Sister Paula Prendergast from Australia, “I Will Not Be Silent, But Will Tell the Truth Even
When I’m Scared” by Sister Margie Holmstroem Seely, Leader of the Education Department at the General Conference of the IMS, and “I am a Child of the King” by Brother David Morales and Sister Tatiana Vargas from Colombia shell be read on the next three Sabbaths of the family month: on May 16, 23 and 30, 2026. This noble initiative of the Education Department at the GC of the IMS is in full harmony of God’s plan, because the Lord said during His first coming on this earth: “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14).
