Two souls, a sister and a brother in the faith of Jesus, were baptized on Friday, August 8, 2025, in Toijala, Finland, Pastor Vladimire Marinov, European Division Committee Member at the IMS, who performed the baptism, confirmed the good news. The daily temperature in Toijala, Finland, reached on Friday, August 8, 2025, 20 degrees Celsius which was, of course, a perfect weather for a Christian baptism. On Sabbath, the baptized souls were accepted as members of the local church at the IMS.
Toijala, a former town and municipality in Finland with a population density of 163.2 inhabitants per square kilometre (423/sq mi) as of 2003, situated approximately 40 km (25 miles) south of Tampere, is part of the Pirkanmaa region in the province of Western Finland. On 1 January 2007, Toijala was consolidated with Viiala, a former municipality of Finland, to form the town of Akaa. In addition, Toijala hosted a Nokia office which since 1997 collaborated with Päivölä Folk High School, known for its focus on mathematics and natural sciences.
