Two souls, a sister and a brother in the faith of Jesus, were baptized on the day before yesterday, March 25, 2023, in Davao City, Philippines, and they joined the local church at the International Missionary Society (IMS), sister Elisabeth Tibay announced on Facebook. Pastor Lemuel Tibay performed the baptism.

Davao City, a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Davao Region, Philippines, is, with its total land area of 2,443.61 km2 (943.48 sq mi), the largest city in the Philippines in terms of land area, and, with its population of 1,776,949 people, according to the 2020 census, the third most populous city in the Philippines after Quezon City and Manila, and the most populous in Mindanao.

In addition, Davao, the home of Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines, is nicknamed ‘The Durian Capital of the Philippines’ as well.
