Two souls, two sisters in the faith of Jesus – sister Violeta and sister Vilma, were baptized during the recently held reorganization conference of the Peruvian Union at the IMS, the Facebook site SMI - Unión Peruana announced yesterday, on September 29, 2024, by publishing a video of the event: https://www.facebook.com/SMIUnionperuan/videos/1100623604817909. The two baptized sisters are members of the local church of Florencia de Mora at the IMS, Pastor Jeremias Padilla confirmed.
Florencia de Mora, a city in northern Peru, capital of the district Florencia de Mora in Trujillo Province of the region La Libertad, is located some 3 km north of the Historic Center of Trujillo city. On Sabbath, September 28, 2024, the daily temperature in the city of Florencia de Mora was 18 degree Celsius, which could be considered as a perfect weather for a Christian baptism.
