Three more souls, a brother and two sisters in the faith of Jesus, were baptized yesterday, on Sabbath, July 16, 2022, in the Struma river near the city of Kyustendil, Bulgaria, Brother Ivan Ivanov, Bible worker and elder of the local church, confirmed. The baptism was performed by Pastor Margarit Zhekov, Bulgarian Field missionary leader and responsible minister for Kyustendil region. In this way, the members of the Kyustendil reached eight. It is interesting that two of the baptized souls – a brother and a sister, are grandchildren of our brother Lyuben who died recently, but he gave the good testimony of faith by his life and made the wonderful experience of Abel: “And by it (this faith) he being dead yet speaketh.” (Hebrews 11:4)
In addition, the baby Sarah, the daughter of the two of the baptized souls were presented before the Lord and a prayer petition to God for the health and the blessing of the four-month old baby, born in the seventh month of pregnancy, was held by Pastor Margarit Zhekov. After the Lord’s Supper held together with the three newly accepted souls, the good news was announced that two friends of the truth would like to be baptized in September 2023.
