Rome’s bishop Francis read his encyclical on September 12, 2019, appealing the world leaders to sign a global pact on education, in order to create a new universal solidarity and a new humanism, Doug Batchelor reported in a special video: https://www.facebook.com/dougbatchelor/videos/439124710282395/. In addition, Rome’s bishop underlined the need of reeducating young people, in order to develop mature persons who are able to live in the society and for the society, establishing a global educational alliance in the world ‘village’. The venue of signing the global pact is Rome and the date – May 14, 2020.
Furthermore, Rome’s bishop made a reference to his encyclical, dated May 24, 2015, where it is mentioned that Sunday, the first day of the week, should be considered as day of rest for healing the relationship with God, just like the Jewish Sabbath, in order to save the environment.
In this way, two global educational signs are present – Sunday as Rome’s bishop’s day of Christ’s resurrection and the biblical Sabbath as seventh day of the week – the day of rest ordered by Christ Himself.
