A successful Christian evangelism campaign was held in Ivory Coast at the end of last year, from December 26 to December 29, 2023, consecrated elder Allamon Finagnon Bruno, Côte d’Ivoire Mission Field Bible worker, confirmed yesterday, on January 31, 2024. As a result, some friends of the Truth are in preparation for baptism and very soon they shall be baptized, elder Allamon Finagnon Bruno added. Furthermore, interested souls from the cities of Doékoué and Daloa visit the local church in Abidjan, in order to receive more Bible studies.
In addition, a theoretical and practical cooking course was held before and after the Christian evangelism campaign. A very important reason for the success of all the missionary activities was the fact that the Ivory Coast Field could purchase, by God’s grace, a speaker, a projector and a projector board for the public evangelism program.
Cote d’ Ivoire became a protectorate of France in 1843 and was consolidated as a French colony in 1893, while the independence was achieved in 1960 under the leadership of Felix Houphouȅt-Boigny who ruled the country until 1993. After a coup d’état in 1999 and two civil wars – first between 2002 and 2007, and then during 2010-2011, Republic of Cote d’ Ivoire adopted a new constitution in 2016.
