An excellent profound sermon on Titus, the noble hero of the faith of Christ, was preached in Spanish at the IMS by Sister Raquel Orce Sotomayor, Director of the Publishing Department at the General Conference of the IMS, on Friday, November 7, 2025, and published via YouTube as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3yieXDaQp4. Sister Karola Kraenzmer was the translator in the event.
In her presentation, Sister Raquel Orce Sotomayor underlined the fact that Titus was called by Paul the apostle “my true son after the common faith” (Titus1:4, first part). However Titus, a Greek whose name meant “honorable”, was not only a true child of a common faith for Paul the apostle, but he acted as a co-worker and a missionary together with the legendary apostle, Sister Raquel Orce Sotomayor confirmed, according to 2 Corinthians 8:16, 23; Galatians 2:1 and 2 Timothy 4:10. In addition, Sister Raquel Orce Sotomayor emphasized that Titus had the position of a church officer who took care of the churches applying administrative help and discipline, according to the Lord’s Word in 2 Corinthians 7:6,13 and 8:6. Furthermore, Titus was given as an example of a Christian of non-Jewish origin who did not need to be circumcised, according to the decision made by the Holy Spirit in Acts 15:28-29.
