Five souls, three sisters and two brothers in the faith of Jesus, were baptized on March 31, 2024, in Broederstroom, South Africa, a village in the former Pretoria district, Pastor Elijah M. Zwane, Second Secretary at the General Conference of IMS who performed the baptisms, confirmed the good news today, on April 4, 2024. The baptisms were performed in a swimming pool, Pastor Elijah M. Zwane added.

Broederstroom, situated beside the R512 road on the Daspoortrand (former Pretoria district) in the Witwaterstrand, a 56-kilometers-long (35 mi) scarp, known as the southern foothills of the Magaliesberg in North West Province, South Africa, was established from a Voortrekker settlement which was founded in the wake of Mzilikazi’s depopulation of the region during the mfecane, a historical period of heightened military conflict and migration associated with state formation and expansion in South Africa from the 1810s to the 1840s.
