A disabled elder at IMS, Brother Joseph Manov, who worked also in Estonia and Turkey and then was hit by the car of a Turkish prosecutor, high in rank in the city of Izmir, in a heavy road accident, lost his invalidity pension due to unjust law in Bulgaria, the Channel One of Bulgarian National Television reported on April 26, 2024: https://bntnews.bg/news/spryaha-invalidnata-pensiya-na-mazh-ot-varna-1276041news.html

According to the decision of the Territorial Expert Medical Commission in the city of Varna, Bulgaria, the initial level of 54 percent invalidity, detected for Brother Joseph Manov, was cut to 24 percent despite Brother Joseph Manov’s continuous harm of respiratory tract and walking with crutches, provoked by osteochondrosis of spine as a result of the road accident. In addition, the Bulgarian law about detecting one’s invalidity is unjust a priori, because it states that, regardless from how many sicknesses one suffers, his level of invalidity should be detected on the basis of his heaviest sickness only.

Furthermore, Elder Joseph Manov needs our prayers, because he filed an appeal for the issue.
