The second virtual Christian symposium in English under the motto “Prepare to Meet the Lord” will be held from October 4 to October 8, 2020, Pastor Douglas Francis, Secretary of the General Conference, reported in a circular letter of September 2, 2020. “On Sunday, October 4, the Symposium will begin at 06:30 am Eastern Time in Cedartown, USA. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday it will start at 08:00 am with the morning devotion. From Monday 5 through Thursday 8, we will be having the Question and Answer sessions beginning at 06:30 am through 08:00 am. This is meant for ministers, workers, leaders and church officers at all levels of the church”, Pastor Francis added.
Earlier, in a circular letter of August 19, 2020, Pastor Douglas Francis directed an appeal to the brethren worldwide to “send, special songs and instrumentals to the General Conference, in order to be used in the forthcoming symposiums and General Conference broadcasting”. The musical performances shall be used “on a first-come, first-served basis”. The idea is “to add more color to the symposium while praising the Lord”.
