Three more souls were baptized in Germany and added as members to the International Missionary Society of Seventh day Adventist church – Reform Movement, in the summer of 2018, Daniel Serban, president of the German Union confirmed. The baptism has been performed by Pastor Adolfo Gessner in Mosbach Baden, Germany, Pastor Serban added.

The baptism, called in the Bible covenant as well (Psalm 50:5), is among the most important Christian experiences, because “he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16). Furthermore, the baptism of true Christ’s followers is a reason for joy both in heaven and on earth, because “joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance” (Luke 15:7) and because, through the baptism, our names “are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20).

The place of this baptism, Mosbach Baden, a beautiful German town, was also known as the location of the International Missionary society’s headquarters until 2003, when transferring to Cedartown, Georgia, USA, was done, based on General Conference delegates’ decision from their session in Ellecom, Holland, in 2002.
