An worldwide evangelism weekend with the title “The Time Is Fulfilled”, according to Mark 1:15, was held today and yesterday, on January 15 and 16, 2021, the Evangelism Department at IMS reported via e-mail. The evangelism weekend started on Friday at 5 pm (GTM – 5) with paean of praise performed by Prado Sisters from Chile. The program was opened at 5:30 pm by Pastor Samuel Becerra from Colombia, and the Sabbath was opened at 5:45 pm by Pastor Antonio Rios from Peru with the subject “In the Time of God”. In addition, Pastor Danilo Monterroso from Guatemala presented his lesson with the title “What Awaits Us in the Year 2021” at 6:30 pm.
On Sabbath, January 16, 2021, the program continued at 9:00 am with paean of praise performed by Brother Eloy Vargas from Argentina and Sister Damaris Hunger from Switzerland. The Christian worship meeting was opened at 9:30 by Pastor Lauro Vasconcelos from Brazil. The Sabbath School was lead by Brother Jorge Lozano from Mexico, and the Sabbath School lesson was presented by Pastor Abimelec Hernandes from Chile. The Missionary Minutes were lead by Sister Rosas Calderon from Peru. The main Sabbath Christian sermon under the title “The Time Is Fulfilled” was preached by Pastor Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of the Evangelism Department at IMS.
In the afternoon, the program continued at 2:30 pm with paean of praise performed by Brother Eloy Vargas from Argentina and Sister Damaris Hunger from Switzerland. At 3 pm Pastor Franco Caputo, President of European Division, preached his lesson “United, in Order to Proclaim the Truth”. At 3:45 started the hour for sharing the missionary experiences of 2021, lead by Pastor Francisco Jara from Argentina. Missionary experiences from Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico and the General Conference were mentioned. At 4:30 pm Pastor Pablo Hunger presented the missionary plan for 2021. At 5:15 pm Brother Felipe Acuña held his lesson “Stars in Your Crown”. The worldwide evangelism weekend ended with the subject “Engaged to God” by Pastor E. Vargas from Argentina with starting hour 6:00 pm.
