An important Christian seminar for Pastors and Bible workers from the European Division at the IMS under the motto “Ask for the Old Paths” (according to the Lord’s Word in Jeremiah 6:16) will be held in Brasov, Romania, from June 8 to 14, 2026, Pastor Vladimir Marinov, European Division Committee Member at the IMS confirmed today, on April 14, 2026, quoting a circular letter of the European Division Committee at the IMS of April 8, 2026. Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the IMS, and Pastor Daniel Serban, Leader of the European Division at the IMS, shall take part in the event, together with Pastors and Bible workers from the UK, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Finland, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria and Netherlands.
The seminar will start with two lectures – “The Two Paths” by Pastor Franco Caputo, Treasurer of the European Division at the IMS, to be given from 9:30 am till 10:30 am and “The Scripture Only” by Pastor Daniel Serban, to be presented from 10:30 am till 11:30 am. On the next day, June 9, 2026, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov will read his paper “A Literal or Symbolic Cipher” from 9:30 am till 10:30 am, while the second speech for the day will be given by Pastor Yapci Trujillo under the title “The Music in the Worship” from 10:30 am till 11:30 am. On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the next two lectures – “The Pastoral Counseling” by Pastor Jose Vicente Giner and “The Adventist Reform” by Pastor Gustavo Castellanos, Leader of the Canvassing Department at the General Conference, shall be given from 9:30 am till 10:30 am and from 10:30 am till 11:30 am respectively.
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, an excursion is foreseen for the participants in the seminar. On Friday, June 12, 2026, the last two speeches – “The People Expects the Law from the Priest” by Franco Caputo and “A Rain of Power” by Vladimir Marinov, shall be given from 9:30 am till 10:30 am respectively. The Sabbath will be opened via sermon under the title “The Final Events” by Pastor Wilmer Guevara, the morning sermon will be preached by Pastor Daniel Serban, while the closing sermon under the title “Emotions Which Satan Provokes” will be presented by Pastor Jose Vicente Giner.
The afternoon lectures during the seminar include subjects like “The Prophetic Base of God’s People” by Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, “The Protestant Reform” by Pastor Silas Teixeira, Secretary of the European Division at the IMS, “Salvation Based on Fear” by Pastor Daniel Serban, and will be given on June 8, 9 and 10, 2026, from 4:15 pm till 5:15 pm. In addition, reports of the fields and of the German Union at the IMS shall be presented, together with a round table for Q&A sessions.
Brasov, a city in Transylvania, known with its Hungarian name Brassó and its German names Kronstadt and Brasau as well, has 237,589 inhabitants, according to the 2021 census, and is located approximately 166 km (103 mi) north of Bucharest and 380 km (236 mi) from the Black Sea.
