The seventh part of a profound Christian analysis on the USA in the biblical prophecy was presented at the end of May, on May 26, 2025, during the traditional Q&A session at the IMS, by Sister Raquel Orce, Leader of the Publishing Department at the General Conference of the IMS, and transmitted via YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZbS8NyWEzg, the Secretarial Department at the General Conference of the IMS confirmed. Pastor Douglas Francis, Counselor of the General Conference President at the IMS, was the moderator of the event.
Sister Raquel Orce emphasized that the Sunday law, as a predicted event related to the biblical prophecy on the USA, according to Revelation 13:16, was not a moment, but a process. In addition, Sister Raquel Orce explained that the Sunday-Rest bill was introduced on May 21, 1888, by senator Henry W. Blair, however it was rejected by the majority of the population and the institutions, in order to avoid the violation of the main constitutional principles of the USA: 1. The freedom of the belief and the conscience; 2. The separation of the church from the state; 3. The freedom of the private corporations which were not able to interrupt the steel production process or the cattle carrier on Sunday and to restart it on Monday.
Furthermore, the population of the USA reached 60 million at the time of the introducing the Sunday-Rest bill, and the following argument of the well-known Christian theologian Ellet J. Waggoner became popular: “14 million petitioners should not be allowed to dictate how 60 million (would) worship”, Sister Raquel Orce specified.
