Pastor José Francisco González Rodríguez, a humble and faithful servant of God from the Spanish Field at the IMS, who several times served the Lord as leader of the Spanish Field and as General Conference delegate at the World Assembly, fell asleep in Christ on February 9, 2025, at the age of 78 due to severe illness, the Spanish Field at the IMS confirmed via its Facebook page Smi España (Asdimores) on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Pastor José Francisco González Rodríguez lived in Barcelona, Spain, but he was born in 1946 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a city with a a population of 211,436 (2024) within its administrative limits, known as the capital of the island of Tenerife, Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and one of the capitals of the Canary Islands, along with Las Palmas.
