The first Christian at the IMS in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Brother Ronald Madhodho, an young follower of the faith of Jesus, was baptized last week, on March 24, 2024, Pastor Roland de la Paz, President of the Asian Division at the IMS, who performed the baptism, confirmed today. The local temperature in the UAE on March 24, 2024, was 27 degrees Celsius which is, of course, the perfect weather for a Christian baptism.
The UAE, known simply as the Emirates as well, an elective monarchy in West Asia, in the Middle East, formed from a federation of seven emirates, where each emirate is an absolute monarchy governed by a ruler, and together the rulers form the Federal Supreme Council, the highest executive and legislative body, has an estimated population of 9.97 million, as of the last year. The UAE joined the Arab League on December 6, 1971, and the United Nations three days later.
