The Christian symposium of the European leaders at the IMS under the motto “Growing in Grace” (2 Peter 3:18), organized by the European Division at the IMS, started today, on July 21, 2025, in Tortoreto, Italy, with the lecture “The Pastoral Service” by Pastor Franco Caputo, Treasurer of the European Division at the IMS, and with the lesson “Service for Forgiveness and the Correction” by Pastor Jose Vicente Giner, Pastor Vladimire Marinov, European Division Committee Member, confirmed.
In the afternoon, the lessons “The Touchy Pastoral Family” by Pastor Adalicio Fontes, Leader of the Family Department at the IMS, and “Training in Values” by Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the IMS, were presented.
Tomorrow, the program will continue in the morning with the papers “Fishers of Men” by Pastor Gustavo Castellanos, Leader of the Canvassing Department at the IMS, and “The Education of the Pastor” by Pastor Daniel Serban, European Division President at the IMS. In the afternoon, the speeches “Reaching the Youth” by Wesley Gomes and “Educators of Leaders” by Pastor Tzvetan Petkov are foreseen.
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the lessons “Facing the Difficulties” by Pastor Vladimire Marinov, and “Restoring the Fallen One” by Pastor Jose Vicente Giner are expected in the morning, while in the afternoon the lectures “Controversial Subjects” by Pastor Silas Teixeira, European Division Secretary at the IMS, and “Unity in the Doctrine” by Pastor Franco Caputo shall be given.
In addition, on Friday, July 25, 2025, in the morning two papers – “Preparation for Baptism” by Pastor Nicolas Anca and “Defending the Church of Christ” by Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, shall be read, while on Sabbath, July 26, 2025, the morning and evening sermon will be preached by Pastor Tzvetan Petkov and Pastor Wilmer Guevara respectively.
