We believe the Holy Spirit has been at work from the beginning and is constantly active in redemption.
Genesis 1:2 –
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Psalm 51:11 –
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Isaiah 63:10, 11 –
But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?

In its very first pages, the Bible informs us of His work in the hearts of men.
Genesis 6:3 –
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

We believe the Holy Spirit is Christ’s representative on earth. He convinces of sin and leads to repentance and conversion. He renews and transforms man. He also guides into truth and the knowledge of the divine will and gives strength for obedience and victory over sin.
John 3:5, 6 –
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 14:16, 17 –
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 16:13
 – Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Interpreting Bible truth according to God’s will is possible only through the Holy Spirit. John 14:26; Acts 1:8. However, the nature of the Holy Spirit remains a mystery. – The Acts of the Apostles, p. 52.

In accordance with Jesus’ commission, baptism is to be performed in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:18-20 –
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
